Parmesan-Rotini Skillet
- 1 lb. Italian sausage
- 1-1/2 cups CLASSICO FAMILY FAVORITES Traditional Pasta Sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 3 cups rotini pasta, uncooked
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
- 1/2 tsp. parsley flakes
- Crumble sausage into Dutch oven or large deep skillet; cook 8 to 10 min.
- or until evenly browned, stirring frequently.
- Drain sausage; return to pan.
- Stir in pasta sauce, tomatoes, water and herbs.
- Bring to boil.
- Add pasta; stir.
- Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 20 min.
- or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Mix ricotta, 1/4 cup Parmesan and parsley until blended; spoon over pasta mixture, then swirl gently with spoon.
- Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
