Turkey rissoles recipe
- 3 handfuls Turkey (Brown and White Meat)
- 1 handful Sausage Stuffing
- 1 handful Parsley
- 1 handful Thyme
- 1 handful Breadcrumbs
- 2 Eggs
- 1 pinch Salt and Pepper
- 1 handful Flour
- Roughly chop the turkey and place in bowl with the stuffing.
- Finely chop the Parsley and Thyme and add to the bowl.
- Sprinkle a few breadcrumbs into the bowl and crack in one egg.
- Season with salt and pepper then mix everything together.
- Squeeze the mixture into balls about the size of a scotch egg.
- Roll the balls in flour, then in egg and finally in breadcrumbs.
- Chill the Rissoles for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Shallow fry the Rissoles in about 1/2 a centimetre of groundnut oil.
- Gently turn in the oil for approximately 5 minutes or until golden all over.
- Remove from oil and place on kitchen paper to remove any excess oil.
- Sprinkle with sea salt and serve with chilli sauce.
