Scalloped Potatoes And Ham Recipe
- 6-8 potatoes, according to size
- 2 tbsp. chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. butter
- Leftover ham as desired
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1 quart. lowfat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Cracker crumbs or possibly substitute
- Peel potatoes and slice thin.
- Place a layer of potatoes in a flat baking dish.
- Sprinkle lightly with flour; add in a layer of diced ham.
- Sprinkle with chopped onion.
- Alternate layer of potatoes and ham till all is used.
- Scald the lowfat milk; add in the butter, salt and pour over top.
- Put a ring of cracker crumbs around inside of pan.
- This prevents it from boiling over.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or possibly till done and lightly browned on top.
