Lemon Cornmeal Dippers

  1. Beat butter, sugar and salt in large bowl with mixer until fluffy.
  2. Beat in egg, lemon peel and juice.
  3. On low speed, beat in flour and cornmeal.
  4. Shape heaping teaspoonfuls of dough into 4 to 5 inch ropes, about 1/2 inch thick.
  5. For "S" shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown- Remove to wire rack to cool.
