Omac Hamburger Quiche
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 12 cup mayonnaise
- 12 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 12 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups shredded swiss cheese
- salt and pepper
- 12 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 (4 ounce) can sliced mushrooms
- 2 unbaked 9-inch pastry shells
- Brown the ground beef in large skillet with oil, drain, and cool.
- Pour the browned beef into a large bowl with the remaining ingredients, except the pastry shells.
- Divide the mixture into two labeled 1-gallon bags and freeze.
- Mark and freeze the 2 unbaked 9 inch pastry shells.
- To serve, thaw the bag of ingredients and the pastry shells.
- Pour thawed ingredients into shells.
- Bake in preheated 350F oven for 40 to 50 minutes, covering the pasty edges with foil until the last 10 minutes of baking to prevent them from burning.
- Makes two pies.
