Old-Fashioned Southern Apple Puddin'

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Put the butter in a rectangular casserole dish.
  3. Put the dish in the oven.
  4. While the oven is preheating, it will be melting the butter.
  5. Once butter is melted, take dish out of oven and set aside.
  6. In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
  7. After mixing well, pour the batter mixture into the casserole dish on top of the butter.
  8. Then put the cut up apple pieces all over the top of the batter.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes.
