Moist and Rich Pound Cake

  1. Whisk the softened butter and sugar, then add the egg and heavy cream.
  2. I doubled the recipe, so I used 2 eggs as seen in the photo.
  3. When mixed, it should look like this.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift the flour and cocoa powder together.
  5. Add Step 3 into 2, and mix.
  6. You don't need to be so particular about this.
  7. When Step 4 is blended, add the chopped chocolate into the batter.
  8. Pour the batter into the mold and level the surface.
  9. Bake in the oven for 30 ~ 40 minutes at 180C.
