Bombay Curried Banana Chicken Chowder Recipe
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 med onion, minced
- 1 stalk celery, minced
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. light cream
- 1 tsp curry pwdr
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c. cooked chicken, diced
- 2 x bananas, peeled and diced
- Heat butter in large saucepan; stir in onion and celery.
- Cook till veggies are limp.
- Stir in flour; mix well.
- Stir in chicken broth, cream, curry pwdr, and salt; simmer several min.
- Add in chicken and bananas; heat to boiling.
- Serve warm.
- Spike would serve it with a crisp salad and maybe some crunchy bread.
