Italian White Bean Soup

  1. In a large sauce pan cook onion and garlic in hot oil about 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
  2. Stir in beans, broth, tomatoes and marjarom.
  3. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  4. Simmer covered for 15 minutes.
  5. Stir in cooked sausage, kale or spinach simmer for about 5 minutes more or until kale is tender.
  6. Season to taste with pepper.
