German Dessert: Strawberry & Blueberry Tart

  1. Bake the tart based off
  2. Wash the fruit and drain well.
  3. Cut the strawberries in half.
  4. Once the tart cools, spread a thin layer of jam of your choice.
  5. The jam will prevent the pudding from soaking into the sponge.
  6. Make the vanilla pudding.
  7. Pour it on top of the jam-glazed sponge.
  8. Carefully arrange the fruit on top of the tart.
  9. Soak the gelatin in 1 1/2 tablespoons of water (not listed) to soften.
  10. Put the 200 ml of water and the granulated sugar into a small saucepan.
  11. Add the softened gelatin and heat over medium heat.
  12. When the gelatin thickens, brush or spoon it carefully over the tart.
  13. Chill in the refrigerator and it's done.
  14. It looks like this when cut.
  15. It's good topped with whipped cream!
