Baked Indian Spiced Salmon

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Rinse the salmon fillet in cold water and pat dry.
  3. Line a baking sheet or glass pyrex dish with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  4. Place salmon fillet on dish.
  5. Sprinkle half the salt evenly on the salmon and flip the salmon.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining half of the salt.
  7. In a small bowl, mix coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, lemon juice, and canola oil.
  8. Grate the fresh garlic and add to this mixture.
  9. Whisk.
  10. It will form a thick marinade.
  11. Brush this on the salmon and and bake for about 12 minutes till salmon is opaque and flaky.
  12. Garnish with cilantro, and serve warm with mashed potatoes or rice.
