Ice cream with dates and cognac recipe

• 500 g (17.6oz) vanilla ice cream
• 100 g (3.5oz) dates
• 100 ml (3.5fl oz) cognac

1. Leave the dates in the cognac, at room temperature, for 2-3 hours, to let it soak in.
2. Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 3-5 minutes.
3. Take the dates out of the cognac.
4. Remove the seeds from the dates and cut the dates into small cubes.
5. Mix the cubed dates into the ice cream and serve.
