Almond Filling Recipe
- 4 x egg whites
- 1 1/4 lb grnd almonds
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter melted few drops vanilla
- 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk
- Beat egg whites till thick.
- Slowly add in the rest of the filling ingredients except the lowfat milk.
- Add in only sufficient lowfat milk to adjust the consistency.
- Refrigeratein the refrigerator as the dough is being made.
- This recipe makes sufficient filling for at least four braids.
