Herbed Rice Pilaf

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt butter.
  2. Add scallions and herbs and cook, stirring, for 1 minutes.
  3. Add rice, stir to coat grains and then add broth.
  4. Bring to a boil over high heat, cover, remove from heat and let stand until liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, 5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Fluff with a fork before serving.
