Golden Cheddar Broccoli Bake
- 4 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded sharp natural Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 c. corn flake crumbs
- 1 (12 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears, cooked and drained
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- Melt 2 tablespoons margarine; stir in flour and salt.
- Add milk gradually, mixing until smooth.
- Cook until mixture boils, stirring constantly.
- Add cheese, stirring until melted.
- Mix in 1/4 cup corn flakes and corn.
- Arrange broccoli in a 7 1/2 x 11 3/4-inch baking dish.
- Pour cheese sauce over broccoli.
- Toss remaining 1/2 cup crumbs with 2 tablespoons melted margarine.
- Sprinkle crumb mixture over casserole.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Makes 8 servings.
