Savory Crockpot Pot Roast

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet and brown the roast about 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on all sides.
  2. Place vegetables in your slow cooker.
  3. Place beef on top of vegetables.
  4. Mix together horseradish, salt and pepper in a small bowl and spread over the beef.
  5. Pour water over all contents.
  6. Cover slow cooker and cook at LOW setting for 8 to 10 hours until everything is fall-apart tender.
