Ham 'n Apple Bagels

  1. Melt butter in 10-inch skillet.
  2. Stir in brown sugar, cinnamon and water.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, 2-3 minutes or until mixture just comes to a boil.
  4. Boil, stirring constantly, 1 minute.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Dip cut-side of bagel halves in brown sugar mixture.
  7. Place cut-side up onto ungreased baking sheet; set aside.
  8. Add apple rings to remaining brown sugar mixture.
  9. Cook over medium heat, turning once, 2-3 minutes or until apple rings are tender.
  10. Heat broiler.
  11. Broil bagel halves 5 to 7 inches from heat 1-2 minutes or until lightly toasted.
  12. Top each bagel half with 1 apple ring and 1/6 sliced ham; return to broiler.
  13. Continue broiling 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
  14. Top each with 1 slice cheese; return to broiler.
  15. Continue broiling 1-2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
