Mikan Microwave-steamed Bread

  1. Cut the top of the mikan tangerines and scoop out the insides.
  2. Mind you don't rip the peel!
  3. Wrap the scooped out insides in a paper towel and squeeze.
  4. Add the pancake mix and stir until it thickens.
  5. Pour the batter into the empty mikan peels to 70% full.
  6. Pour the rest into heatproof containers or cups.
  7. This time I used three silicon cups.
  8. Place on a heatproof plate, wrap, and microwave for 2 minutes.
  9. They're done when they have swelled and the surface has dried!
