Cornmeal Breakfast Waffles

  1. Mix dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
  2. Add the oil, eggs, and milk.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Pour the batter into a hot Belgian or regular waffle iron.
  5. Cook according to the instructions on your waffle maker.
  6. Set each one on a baking rack in the oven on low to keep them slightly crispy.
  7. Serve with maple or other flavored syrup.
