Paprika Chicken With Sour Cream Gravy

  1. Combine flour, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken breast halves with the mixture.
  3. Heat butter in a large skillet.
  4. Add the chicken and cook over medium to medium-high heat until browned on all sides.
  5. (about 5 minutes).
  6. Add cream of chicken soup and green onions.
  7. Cover and simmer about 15-minutes (20-25 if using bone-in cuts).
  8. Carefully stir in sour cream and warm over low heat until well blended.
  9. (you can remove the chicken onto a warmed serving platter while mixing the sour cream with the seasoned soup and onions).
  10. Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
