Slow Cooker/Crock Pot Hearty Beef Stew
- 2 lbs stewing beef, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 5 carrots, sliced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 stalks celery, sliced
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
- 12 cup quick-cooking tapioca
- 1 whole clove (optional)
- 2 bay leaves
- salt & pepper
- Trim all fat from meat.
- Put all ingredients in slow-cooker.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Cover & cook on low 10-12 hours or oh high 4-5 hours.
- Serve hot.
