Chicken And Gravy
- 1 each chicken, whole
- 1 each jalapeno pepper chopped
- 1/2 each onions chopped
- 1 each garlic cloves
- 1 x salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
- 1 can chicken broth
- Wash and cut up chicken.
- Drop chicken in hot oil in Dutch Oven.
- Add chopped ingredients and cover.
- Turn heat low and cook until tender..
- When chicken is tender and a little brown, push to side of pot and add flour.
- Stir; add chicken broth and enough water to make gravy to desired thickn ess.
- Simmer on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- This is good with hot biscuits.
