Crock-Style Beans

  1. In saucepan bring water and beans to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours.
  2. Remove from heat and pour into bowl; cover and chill.
  3. Drain beans; reserve 1 cup liquid.
  4. Transfer beans and reserved liquid to crockery cooker.
  5. Stir in pork, onion, molasses, brown sugar, and mustard.
  6. Cover; cook on low heat setting for 12 to 14 hours.
  7. Stir.
  8. Makes 6 servings.
