Spicy Mashed Potato Donuts
- 1/2 cups Mashed Potato
- 1/2 cups Grated Tofu
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped Onions
- 2 Tablespoons Grated Carrot
- 1/2 Tablespoons Paprika Powder
- 1/2 Tablespoons Pepper Powder
- 13 Tablespoons Salt
- 1/2 cups Water
- 1 Tablespoon Corn Flour
- 1 cup Fresh Bread Crumbs
- Oil, For Frying
- In a bowl, mix all ingredients (except water, corn flour and bread crumbs) well.
- Let rest in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
- Take batter out of refrigerator and make ring donuts (around 6 to 8).
- In a small bowl, take water and mix with corn flour to create a slurry.
- In a flat plate, add bread crumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat for frying the donuts.
- Take one donut, dip into the slurry, then coat in bread crumbs.
- Fry donuts over low heat, flipping once, for 35 minutes or until golden brown color.
