Honey Nut Cocktail Dogs

• 2 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough
• 1 (16 ounce) packagemini smoked sausage (Like "Lil' Smokies")
• 12 cup butter or 12 cup margarine
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons honey
• 12 cup finely chopped walnuts

1. Unroll crescent roll dough.
2. Separate into triangles.
3. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles or pieces.
4. Roll a sausage in each.
5. Place in a buttered 9 x 13 pan.
6. In a saucepan, melt butter.
7. Stir in honey and brown sugar.
8. Cook until mixture begins to boil.
9. Pour mixture over prepared sausage crescents.
10. Sprinkle with nuts.
11. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden brown.
12. Serve with toothpicks.
