Meat Pie

  1. Cook meat and onions in a big soup pot until meat is no longer pink.
  2. Add 4 cups of the water, heat to a boil.
  3. Add seasonings.
  4. Dissolve flour in the remaining 1 cup of water.
  5. Slowly add water and flour mixture to the boiling meat and seasoning pot, stirring constantly.
  6. Pour into 4 prepared pie pans (with crust).
  7. Top with rolled pie crust.
  8. Cut slits in the top crust.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
  10. Eat right away or freeze.
  11. These freeze beautifully.
  12. To reheat pie after freezing, bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
