Brunch Turnovers
- 1 (13 7/8 ounce) packagerefrigerated pizza dough
- 14 cup orange marmalade
- 34 cup chopped Canadian bacon or 34 cup cooked ham
- 34 cup shredded swiss cheese (3 oz.)
- 14 cup thinly sliced green onion (2)
- fresh ground black pepper
- milk
- sesame seeds or poppy seed
- orange marmalade, warmed (optional)
- Preheat oven to 400.
- Line a baking sheet with foil; grease foil.
- Set baking sheet aside.
- Unroll pizza dough into a 12-inch square.
- Spread with 1/4 cup marmalade.
- Cut dough into nine 4-inch squares.
- For the filling: in a bowl, combine Canadian bacon, cheese, and green onions.
- Place about 3 tablespoons of the filling on each dough square.
- Sprinkle lightly with pepper.
- Fold one corner of each square over filling to the opposite corner.
- Seal edges and prick tops with a fork.
- Place turnovers on the prepared baking sheet; brush lightly with milk and sprinkle with sesame and/or poppy seeds.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown (filling may leak out slightly).
- If desired, serve with warmed marmalade.
