• 1 cup butter (Judges V, 25)
• 4 cups flour (I Kings IV, 22)
• 3 cups sugar (Jeremiah VI, 20)
• 2 cups raisins (I Samuel XXX, 12)
• 2 cups figs (I Samuel XXX, 12)
• 1 cup water (Genesis XXIV, 17)
• 1 cup almonds (Jeremiah I, 11)
• 6 eggs (Isaiah X, 14)
• 1 tablespoon honey (Exodus XVI, 21)
• 1 teaspoon cream (Exodus XII, 19)
• 3 teaspoons baking powder (I Corinthians V,6)
• 1 pinch salt (Job VI, 6)
• spices, to taste (I Kings X, 10)
