Kanya's Meatballs
- 250 grams ground beef
- 50 grams ground pork
- 1 tsp salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 tsp rose mary
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 slice of white bread soak in milk
- 1 minced coriander roots
- 1 bunch fresh parsley
- 1 tsp each oregano,and mustard
- 3 large size tomato
- 1/2 can canned tomato
- 3 bay leaves
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- Finely chop meat ,select most fresh as you can,add pork ( skip this if you bought both minced meats ),mix by hand,add finely chopped garlic and other meatball ingredients..tips : to mix pork give a softly texture and easy to shape your meatballs
- Shape into golf ball size get about 10 balls,let it set in fridge about 30 mins,tip : dust your hand with flour for easy to shape,softly rolling in your hand
- Brown meatballs in hot oil,one by one,try to roll the ball around your pan to let oil coverall,ball will get perfect round shape,no cracked or flat,add another ball and do the same until finish..tip : this step need self confident and quick as i want the last and the first ball get brown innearly same times
- Make sauce,cut and boil tomato for 5 mins,peel it off,chop
- Stir fried chopped garlic with oregano,bay leaves,parsley,until get fragrance,add chopped fresh tomato,canned tomato,seasoning,let it simmer in 10 mins
- Add meatball to the sauce,simmer by cover lid on low heat about 30 mins,if it too dry can add some stock
- Taste and serve hot with mashed potato or favorite pasta :)
