Barbecue Ribs With Blended Fruit Recipe

  1. Place ribs in a large Dutch oven; cover with water.
  2. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 35 min.
  3. Drain ribs, and arrange in a large shallow dish.
  4. Combine apricots and remaining ingredients in container of an electric blender; blend till smooth.
  5. Pour sauce over ribs, turning to coat; cover and marinate in refrigerator 8 hrs, turning occasionally.
  6. Remove ribs from marinade and place on a lightly greased rack in broiler pan, reserving marinade for basting.
  7. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 min, basting twice.
