Yakitori-Style Chicken Tenders
- 6 Chicken tenders
- 1 dash Salt
- 3 tbsp Katakuriko
- 1 Vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tsp Blended miso
- 1/2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 3 thin slices Garlic
- Spread a generous amount of vegetable oil out in a frying pan and place the katakuriko-coated chicken tenders.
- Cook on high heat until golden brown.
- Combine the ingredients, mix, and set aside.
- Spread a generous amount of vegetable oil out in a frying pan and place the flour-coated chicken tenders.
- Cook on high heat until golden brown.
- Once one side has cooked, flip and cook on medium heat with a lid.
- Once it's golden brown, stop the heat.
- Wipe excess oil in the frying pan with a paper towel, and add the sauce you made in Step 2, the garlic and turn on the heat again.
- Turn up to high heat and once the sauce comes to a boil, it's done (be careful not to burn it).
- Cut into bite-sized pieces and serve.
