Simple Burger

  1. In separate batches, grind the chuck and sirloin in a meat grinder or food processor.
  2. Combine the chuck, sirloin, and kosher salt in a large bowl.
  3. Form the meat into 5-ounce patties.
  4. Heat a cast iron griddle over medium-high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Place the hamburger patties on the griddle.
  6. Cook patties for 5 minutes on each side for medium burgers.
