C.'S Super Nachos Recipe
- 1 1/2 pound grnd beef
- 1 (10 ounce.) can jalapenos
- 1/2 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 pound shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 (12 ounce.) container lowfat sour cream
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 2 diced tomatoes
- Minced lettuce
- 1 carton guacamole dip
- 1 pkg. tortilla chips
- 1 tbsp. minced green chilies
- Cook crumbled grnd beef till done.
- Drain excess fat.
- Mix taco seasoning with meat according to package directions and cook approximately 15 min.
- Spread the jalapeno dip to cover bottom of 12-14 inch plate or possibly pan.
- Sprinkle with the cheeses; top with meat mix.
- Then sprinkle with chilies.
- Broil or possibly microwave 5-7 min or possibly till cheese is bubbly and brown.
- Around edge of plate or possibly pan, arrange a border of lettuce, then tomatoes, then tortilla chips.
- Place mound of guacamole topped with lowfat sour cream in center.
- May be used as an appetizer or possibly fun Saturday supper.
- Be sure to have plenty of tortilla chips on hand.
