Strawberry Trifle

  1. Dissolve the Jello in the boiling water.
  2. Stir until dissolved.
  3. Add the frozen strawberries, breaking them into chunks.
  4. Let stand 5 - 10 minutes until partially set.
  5. Refrigerate if necessary.
  6. Whip the mixture until fluffy.
  7. In a trifle dish or large glass bowl, layer 1/2 the jello mixture, 1/2 the cake and 1/2 the Cool Whip (in that order).
  8. Repeat layers.
  9. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
