Harvest Fruit Dessert

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Beat margarine and 1/3 cup sugar with mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Add flour; mix well.
  4. Press onto bottom and 1 inch up side of 9-inch springform pan.
  5. Beat cream cheese, 3 Tbsp.
  6. syrup and remaining sugar until blended.
  7. Add egg; beat just until blended.
  8. Spread onto bottom of crust; top with fruit and nuts.
  9. Bake 40 to 45 min.
  10. or until centre is almost set.
  11. Let stand 5 min.
  12. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen dessert; cool before removing rim.
  13. Refrigerate dessert 4 hours.
  14. Drizzle with remaining syrup just before serving.
