Barbecue Limas Recipe

  1. Place beans in soup pot with ham bone.
  2. Add in 3 c. water.
  3. Boil 2 min, remove from heat, cover and let stand 1 hour.
  4. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  5. Drain beans, reserving 1 c. liquid.
  6. Combine beans and reserved liquid with remaining ingredients.
  7. Bake in 1 1/2 qt casserole for 2 1/4 hrs, uncovering last 30 min.
  8. More liquid may be added if necessary.
