Pizza Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Heat a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat.
  3. Cook first 3 ingredients 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently, or until beef is browned.
  4. Drain and discard drippings.
  5. Stir in next 4 ingredients and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Meanwhile, combine milk, oil and eggs in a bowl.
  8. Beat 1 minute with electric mixer on medium speed.
  9. Stir in flour and salt and beat 2 minutes on medium speed, or until smooth.
  10. Set aside.
  11. Spoon meat mixture evenly into an ungreased 9x13-inch baking dish.
  12. Arrange cheese slices over meat mixture.
  13. Pour batter over cheese, covering completely.
  14. Sprinkle with Parmesan.
  15. (Dish can be prepared to this point; cover and refrigerate for 1 day before baking.)
  16. Bake 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
