Easy Ground Beef Soup Recipe
- 1 (16 ounce.) bag frzn vegetables
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 (28 ounce.) can tomatoes, minced
- 4 lg. potatoes, diced
- 1 minced onion
- 3 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tbsp. salt
- 1 teaspoon crushed basil
- Use any leftovers vegetables you have on hand.
- Brown meat; drain.
- Add in to frzn vegetables in 2 qts boiling water.
- Add in remaining ingredients.
- Simmer till vegetables are tender.
- Remove bay leaves before serving.
- Serve with cornbread for a delicious cold weather meal.
- Makes about 10 servings.
- Freezes well or possibly keeps several days in refrigerator.
