Sourdough Bread And Starter Recipe

  1. Sprinkle 1 package dry yeast on 1/2 c. very hot water.
  2. Stir till dissolved.
  3. Add in: 1 teaspoon salt 2 c. hot water 2 c. all-purpose flour
  4. Mix well.
  5. Cover.
  6. Place in bowl where temperature is 78 degrees F. for 3 days.
  7. Stir the mix down daily.
  8. Use starter again: After 1 c. starter has been removed, add in: 1/2 c. flour 1 teaspoon sugar
  9. Add in to remaining starter.
  10. Cover and let stand till ready to use.
  11. Stir down daily.
