Aidells Sausage Hash Recipe
- 2 lb Red potatoes, cut 1/2" dice
- 1 lrg Onion, cut 1/4" dice
- 1/2 stk unsalted butter
- 4 x Links Aidells(r) Cajun Brand Andouille Sausage, cut 1/2" dice
- 1/2 c. Red bell pepper, cut 1/4" pcs
- 1/2 c. Green bell pepper, cut 1/4" pcs
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 1/4 tsp Cayenne
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/4 c. Finely minced green onions, for garnish
- In a heavy large frying pan, saute/fry the potatoes and onions in the batter over medium heat for 15 min, stirring occasionally.
- Add in the sausage, bell peppers, salt, black pepper and cayenne, and continue frying till the sausage is browned, about 5 min.
- Add in salt and pepper to taste and serve garnished with green onions.
- Can substitute New Mexico Brand Smoked Turkey and Chicken Sausage, Smoked Spicy Santa Fe Brand Turkey and Chicken Sausage, Fresh Mexican Beef Chorizo
- (removed from casing), Smoked Turkey and Chicken Sausage with Sun-Dry Tomatoes, etc.
