Ground Beef and Carrots
- 1 1/3 lb ground beef or your favorite gound meat
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 small onion finely chopped
- 1 tbsp yellow prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp ground sage
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tbsp your favorite barbecue sauce
- 10 oz shredded carrots
- 1 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- Preheat oven 400 Fahrenheit
- Mix the ground meat with the spices, cheeses, and onions.
- Only use half the salt.
- Smear your favorite barbecue sauce over the top.
- Put into oven and bake 40 minutes.
- Heat oil add the carrot.
- Fry till carrots are done but firm.
- After the ground meat mixture is done carefully drain the juices off then put under the broiler.
- Broil till crispy on top.
