CrackerBarrel Dumplins

  1. Divide Shredded chicken into 4 freezer bags.
  2. mix flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and oil.
  3. knead dough.
  4. roll out 1/2 in and cut into 1x1 or 2x2 inch squares.
  5. place on pan and flash freeze.
  6. seperate into 4 bags and freeze".
  7. Pull from freezer - need pot of boiling water put frozen dumplins in water in batches.
  8. When dumplin is fluffy strain from water and set aside until sauce is ready.
  9. Sauce; melt butter in large pan then add salt & 1/4 flour stir until thickened.
  10. Mix 1/2 tsp Sugar with 1 cup milk then pour into pan while stirring a little at a time.
  11. Whisk with wooden spoon until smooth.
  12. Add chicken and 3/4 cup chicken stock and heat until boiling.
  13. Reduce heat and add dumplins - stir and let warm dumplins.
  14. Serve.
