Southwestern Beef and Beans

  1. Soak beans in water overnight.
  2. Brown salt pork in skillet or slow-cooking pot with browning unit.
  3. In slow-cooking pot, combine soaked beans (with water), browned pork, and remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 9 to 10 hours.
