Penne With Pink Bacon Sauce Recipe

  1. Cut raw bacon into small (1/4 to 1/2") pcs.
  2. Cook in large fry or possibly saute/fry pan till cooked, being sure not to overcook the bacon.
  3. Add in spaghetti sauce and red pepper flakes to the pan with the bacon.
  4. Stir, reduce heat to low and simmer for about 15 min to allow the flavors to blend.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to package directions.
  6. Drain.
  7. Add in 1/2 c. of heavy cream to the sauce and stir.
  8. Add in more cream to taste.
  9. Sauce should be thick and pink.
  10. Top pasta with sauce and serve!
