Barbecue Cheeseburger Pizza Recipe
- 1 lb grnd beef
- 1 1/2 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 1/2 c. original bisquick
- 1/4 c. very warm water
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil dill pickle slices if you like
- 5 slc processed american cheese cut diagonally in half
- Move oven rack to lowest position.
- Heat oven to 450 degrees.
- Grease 12-inch pizza pan.
- Cook beef in 10-inch skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, till brown; drain.
- Stir in 1/2 c. of the barbecue sauce; set aside.
- Stir Bisquick, very warm water and oil till dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes.
- Press dough in pizza pan, using fingers dipped in Bisquick; healthy pinch edges to create 1/2 inc rim.
- Spread remaining 1 c. barbecue sauce over crust.
- Top with beef mix and pickle slices.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake 12 to 15 min or possibly till crust is brown and cheese is melted.
- Serving Ideas : Quickly finish off this meal by making a salad of bagged coleslaw mix with your favorite purchased coleslaw dressing and serving halved ripe, juicy pears.
- NOTES : Substititution: One lb.
- of bulk pork sausage would make a tasty variation for this recipe.
