Moms Ribs
- 2 pounds Country Style Pork Spare Ribs
- 10 ounces, fluid Ketchup
- 10 ounces, weight Crushed Pineapple, Drained
- 1 whole Onion, Diced
- 2 Tablespoons Mustard
- 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
- Slab about 6-8 country style pork spare ribs on a pan and cook, uncovered for about an hour and a half at 250.
- While that is going, make your sauce by adding ketchup, drained pineapple, diced small onion, mustard and brown sugar to a saucepan and simmering for about ten minutes.
- (For best results add MOST, not all, of everything, so you can add more later to make the sauce to your liking.)
- If you feel like the sauce needs more sweetness, now is the point for adding more sugar, if you feel like it needs more tang, add some mustard.
- Next, drain the fat off the ribs and cover the ribs with the sauce and then tinfoil and throw back in the oven for two and a half hours at 325.
- Serve with mashed potatoes and enjoy.
