Easy Stuffed Pork Chops Recipe
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
- 1 sm. apple, peeled, cored, and minced (1/2 c.)
- 2 tbsp. raisins
- 2 tbsp. finely minced onion
- 1/8 teaspoon dry sage, crushed
- 2 tbsp. apple cider
- 8 pork loin chops, cut 1/2 inch thick
- 1/2 of a 1 ounce. env. (4 tsp.) brown gravy mix
- In a 4-c. glass measure heat the butter in a microwave oven on high for 45-60 seconds.
- Add in the bread crumbs, apple, raisins, onion, sage, 1/2 tsp.
- salt, and 1/4 tsp.
- pepper.
- Toss to mix.
- Add in 1 Tbsp.
- cider to moisten.
- Arrange 4 chops in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish.
- Spoon the apple mix over each chop.
- Place the remaining chops atop stuffing.
- Combine gravy mix with the remaining cider; brush over chops.
- Micro-cook, covered, on medium high 14-18 min or possibly till chops are tender.
- To serve, transfer chops to a platter.
- Serves 4.
