Frikadellen (German Meatballs)

  1. Soak the slice of bread in water until soft and press it to remove the water
  2. Chop the onion into small pieces
  3. Break the soaked bread into small pieces, mix with the chopped onion, egg and minced meat (both pork and beef) thoroughly.
  4. Season with pepper and salt.
  5. Make balls/patties out of the mixture about and fry in olive oil until golden-brown.
