Cajun Garlic Pork Roast Recipe
- 3 1/2 lb boneless pork loin roast
- 1 tsp seasoned salt
- 1 Tbsp. oregano leaves crushed
- 1 Tbsp. black pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp chili pwdr
- 1 tsp grnd cumin
- Tested on 4/25/99.
- Quite good.
- Probably would be better using freshly grnd pepper and (maybe) freshly grnd cumin.
- Used about 1/3+ the quantity of dry granulated garlic instead of fresh garlic - worked fine..
- Some heat but not too warm.
- Live high on the hog and enjoy this delicious, lean cut of pork!
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Blend all seasonings well and rub mix over all surfaces of pork loin.
- Place pork in shallow roasting pan and roast till meat thermometer inserted in roast registers 155 to 160 degrees F., about 60-90 min.
- Remove pork from oven; let rest 10 min before slicing.
