Plum Streusel Cake

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees F.
  2. Mix 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in nuts.
  4. Line 13x9-inch pan with parchment, with ends of parchment extending over sides.
  5. Beat cream cheese, remaining butter, remaining sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended.
  6. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  7. Gradually beat in remaining flour; pour into prepared pan.
  8. Top with plums and streusel topping.
  9. Bake 1 hour 15 min.
  10. or until toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.
  11. Cool 30 min.
  12. Remove from pan.
  13. Cool completely.
